These Terms of Service govern your use of Tarot Mania and any purchases you make on our platform. By using this service or purchasing session credits, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Tarot Mania and clicking "I agree" on the purchase screen, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use paid features of this service.
2. Service Description
Tarot Mania is an AI-assisted tarot reading tool. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, or a substitute for licensed mental health services. Each new account receives one complimentary session credit at no charge — no payment card is required to claim this free session.
3. No Subscription
Tarot Mania operates on a credit-based model. There are no recurring subscriptions, automatic renewals, or lock-in commitments. You purchase session credits in one-time bundles at prices displayed on the pricing page. Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
4. Purchases & No-Refund Policy
Every new account receives one complimentary session at no charge, allowing you to fully experience the service before any payment is made. The minimum paid purchase is $1.99 for a single session. All purchases of session credits are final and non-refundable. Once a payment is processed, no refunds, credits-back, or exchanges are offered under any circumstances — including unused credits, change of mind, or account deletion. Because credits do not expire (see Section 3), there is no time pressure to use them. By completing a purchase you explicitly acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.
5. Account Dormancy & Credit Forfeiture
Accounts with no login activity for 12 consecutive months are classified as dormant and are permanently and automatically deleted, including any unused purchased session credits. No refunds are issued for credits lost due to account dormancy. To prevent deletion, log in at least once every 12 months.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use Tarot Mania for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to reverse-engineer the service, to abuse automated systems to interfere with the platform, or to use the service in any way that could harm other users or third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and design of Tarot Mania is owned by or licensed to Tarot Mania. The tarot reading framework is based on traditional interpretations; our specific implementation, AI models, and user interface are proprietary.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific therapeutic outcomes, or compatibility with every device or browser. Use of the service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tarot Mania and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the session credits giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
